Ovid's and Shakespeare's Epitaphs

Three epitaph words with gematric values of WILLIAM

I.   3 WORDS

II.  3+6+1 WORDS

I. 3 WORDS

1.          There are three words in the epitaph which have the same gematric values as WILLIAM:

GOOD FREND FOR IESVS SAKE FORBEARE

TO DIGG THE DVST ENCLOASED (74) HEARE.

BLESTE BE YE MAN YT SPARES (74) THES STONES

AND CVRST BE HE YT MOVES MY BONES (52).

74 is the numeric sum (NS) of WILLIAM, 52 its factoral sum (FS):

The numeric values (NV) of WILLIAM are characterised by inversions. The ratio 21:12 is 3*(7:4), which repeats in single digits the NS 74. This is probably Shakespeare's logic to integrate two words with the NS 74 in his epitaph.

The combined numeric and factoral values are:

The three words consisting of 20 letters have an average numeric value (NV) 10. The 20 letters correspond to twice 10 points in two tetractyses.

The NS+FS result 343 is 7*7*7, representing the elements of the three sides of the tetractys:

3.          The three FS are prime so that their FV are identical. The factors of 143 are 11*13. As 2*11*13 they can form an octahedron from two axes of double rhombi:

An octahedron looks like an urn to contain the ashes of a deceased person. Shakespeare thus feels in safe rest.

4.          The sum of 581 = 7*83 forms part of the total sum 3320 = 40*83.

5.          To assure posterity of the spelling of his name such as he would like to be remembered SHAKESPEARE might have used the spellings FORBEARE and HEARE.

6.          Because of his love for the hexagram and the tetractys Shakespeare may have been born and died on the same day, the 23rd of April. 234 consists of the product 13*18, representing 13 elements of the three hexagonal axes and 18 of the three sides of the tetractys:

Also the year 1616 points to the double circle of the hexagram, because of the midpoint and twice 6 points on the circle line. The following graphic shows the second 16 inverted as 61 because the circle has to be drawn after the completion of the hexagram; F means area size:

The NS+FS and FV1/2 of WILLIAM are like the corresponding results of the 3 words divisible by 7. The total 7*109 can be related to the 7 points of the hexagon and 10 points of the tetractys or, alternatively, to its 10 points and 9 triangles. The two numbers can represent the ratio 1:3 of the two concentric circles of the hexagram.

2.      The 4v-sum 182 connects WILLIAM with the NS 182 of SATOR OPERA TENET and IESUS CHRISTUS. 294 is the NS+FS of IESUS CHRISTUS.

There are three remarkable results:

3.      First, The two ratio numbers 21 and 29 refer to the 9 diametric elements of the hexagram, which can be numbered from 1 to 5 and 1 to 3:

The numbers can stand for two double rhombi which can be formed into a cross and fitted into an octahedron.

The ratio 21:29 is the same as the NS+FS of WILLIAM and SHAKESPEARE: 126:174 = 6*(21:29).

4.      Second, the inverted numbers 267 and 276 both refer to the double aspect of 26 and 27 elements of the octahedron: 6 corners, 12 edges or lines and 8 areas. These outer elements are completed by 1 element of volume. The sum 543 = 3*181 refers to the three double rhombi of the hexagram, which contain 8 lines of the frame and 2 lines across.

5.      Third, the double aspect of 26+27 elements is confirmed by the factor 53 of the total 4v-sums. However, just as important is the meaning of the single digits 5 and 3, which are the radial elements of the two concentric circles:

The numbers 5 and 3 represent the ratio of 3:1 area units which corresponds to the second factor 31. The numbers 3 and 1 symbolize the Christian trinity of one God in three Persons.

There are three sums that contain the factor 53:

The three words allow the conclusion that Jesus will take care of Shakespeare's enclosed bones. The 20 letters of the three words have the average NV+FV 18, which is the number of letters of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE. 71 is the FS of SHAKESPEARE. The FS 142 is the average sum of the other three sums. It is the 4v-sum of the numbers 1-10:

Shakespeare is highly devoted to the Virgin Mary. He understands that she has enabled the redemption of mankind by Jesus Christ. Therefore her 4v-sum has to be put before the total so far established: 31*(3:53) = 31*56 = FV 31+13 = 44. The digits 353 can be split into 35 and 53 and form half the NS and NS+FS of IESUS. They especially refer to 6 radial and 5 diametric elements of the circle axis:

If one double rhombus is given one midpoint and the second two, the frame of the cross of doublerhombi consists of 31 elements:

7.      It should be remembered here that Ovid determined the factors 35 (5*7) and 31 in the FS 1085 of his epitaph. Both FS 1085 + 971 = 2056 = 8*257 > FV 263 mean the same relation between elements and area units (F), in this case referring to points of the double rhombus:

The FV 263 can be understood either as 2*63 or 26*3. In both cases the result are three octahedra, composed of 3*2 double rhombi of 21 elements for each double rhombus and 26 elements for each octahedron.
